Rallye Monte Carlo 2011 l Reco - Jour 3 
opening round of the championship IRC (Intercontinental Rally Challenge), the famous Monte Carlo Rally this year celebrates its centenary and the 120 crews entered will travel three stages with different profiles: the Ardèche, Drôme and the Alpes Maritimes .
To close the three days of reconnaissance of the course of 2011, Eric Mauffrey and Gaëtan Houssin were yesterday close to the Vercors (Drôme) to browse and take notes of ES Step 2: ST-JEAN-EN-ROYANS - FONT d'Urle (23.05 km) and Vassieux CEMETERY - COL Gaudissart (24.13 km).
After three full days, Gaëtan an update on this end of the acknowledgments: " Again, snow is largely absent and the two special blow losing a bit of interest because the dry, they are real boulevards where we take high speeds and the only party close is the one used last year as a prologue. Too bad because the snow is a real treat to take these broad curves while drift ... But maybe the weather will change by Thursday and a large white coat has covered the road. Daniel, our team manager, has also been busy copying all our notes for circulation among the openers. Tuesday is dedicated to the auditors and then all competitors are invited the centennial souvenir photo. I admit to not being a big fan of these days but hey wait ... the next day it will banzai Ardeche so I relativized. (Laughter) "
